Today, Monday, November 8, 2021, Generations Without Qat Organization for Awareness and Development has launched three training courses for civil society organizations, women's groups and youth initiatives on "governance, community accountability, leadership and communication" in Al-Mudhaffar and Al-Qahirah districts in Taiz governorate as part of the project of "Enhancing community participation, building the capacity of CSOs and youth and women initiatives and activating their roles in local communities.
(45) participants representing CSOs, women groups and youth initiatives will participate in the training courses which will last until the coming Thursday February 11, 2021.
The training courses will be in three parts, first part will include governance and community accountability for CSOs and women groups, with the participation of 15 organizations and women groups, second part will include leadership and communication for youth and women initiatives with the participation of 15 youth and women initiatives, and the third part will include governance and community accountability for youth and women initiatives with the participation of 15 youth and women initiatives.
During the training courses, participants will receive information, knowledge and skills about the principles and concept of governance and its importance, governance indicators and the obstacles of applying it, participants will receive an introduction to community accountability, its importance and types, its most important mechanisms and accountability tools, in addition to receiving information about communication concepts, its importance, elements, types, obstacles and parts. In addition to receiving skills about leadership, its concept and its importance. Participants will also realize the difference between leadership and management, the duties and arts of leadership, and the styles of leaders.
