Within the project of Strengthening community participation, and building the capacities of civil society organizations, women’s groups, youth and women initiatives, and activating their roles in society. Implemented by the Generations Without Qat Organization for Awareness and Development in the districts of Al-Qaherah and Mudhaffar in Taiz Governorate, the coordination workshop between civil society organizations and groups was held today, Thursday, July 1, 2021, Feminism and youth and women initiatives in the districts of Al-Qaherah and Mudhaffar.
The workshop, in which 15 civil society organizations, women's groups, and 15 youth and women's initiatives participated, aimed to enhance coordination capabilities between organizations and initiatives in the districts of Al-Qaherah and Mudhaffar. In addition to strengthening the efforts of organizations and initiatives in achieving community participation, by defining the roles of organizations and initiatives and identifying their needs and obstacles. Which stand in front of organizations and initiatives, and come up with a plan to exchange experiences and skills and coordinate between civil society organizations, women's groups, and youth and women's initiatives.
It is worth noting that these women's organizations, groups, and youth and women's initiatives have built their capacities during the last period on governance, social accountability, community peacebuilding, advocacy, coalition building, leadership, and communication, in addition to preparing project proposals.
