Within the project “Strengthening community participation and building the capacities of civil society organizations, women’s groups, youth and women’s initiatives, and activating their roles in society” implemented by Generations Without Qat Organization for Awareness and Development in the districts of Al-Qaherah and Muzaffar in Taiz Governorate, Generations Without Qat organized, on Wednesday and Thursday, a coordination meeting between The Community Cooperation Network and the Local Authority in the Districts of Al-Qaherah and Mudhaffar in Taiz Governorate.

Yesterday, Wednesday, July 7, 2021, the coordination meeting was held between the Community Life Network and the local authority of the Al-Qaherah Directorate.

During the meeting, the project and its objectives reviewed, as well as the activities implemented during the first phase of the project for women's organizations and groups, as well as youth and women's initiatives and the local authority.

A presentation also made to introduce the social life network that formed during the implementation of a networking activity that targeted 15 civil society organizations and women's groups in the District of Al-Qaherah and Mudhaffar.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Local Council of the Al-Qaherah Directorate welcomed the network members. Expressing the readiness of the local authority to cooperate with the network and to facilitate the implementation of the projects of the member organizations of the networking within the framework of the Al-Qaherah Directorate.

The members of the network also reviewed before the local authority some issues related to water and health and the importance of youth and women's participation in decision-making and building community peace.

  In a related context, today, Thursday, July 8, 2021, a coordination meeting was held between the Community Life Network and the local authority of Al-Mudhaffar District, within the framework of the project "Strengthening community participation and building the capacities of civil society organizations, women's groups, youth and women's initiatives, and activating their roles in society", which it is implementing. Generations Without Qat Organization for Development and Awareness in the districts of Al-Qaherah and Mudhaffar, Taiz Governorate.

During the meeting, a general presentation of the project to enhance community participation, build the capacity of organizations, and initiatives in the districts of Al-Qaherah and Mudhaffar. As well as the activities that were implemented during the first phase of the project for women's organizations and groups, as well as youth, women's initiatives, and the local authority was presented.

The network members gave a presentation to introduce the social life network that formed during the implementation of the networking activity that targeted 15 civil society organizations and women's groups in the Districts of Al-Qaherah and Mudhaffar last week.

The network members also reviewed some issues related to health and the environment, as well as the importance of youth and women's participation in decision-making and building community peace.

In turn, the Director of the Works Office and the rest of the members of the executive offices in the Mudhaffar district expressed the readiness of the local authority in the district to cooperate with the network and to facilitate the implementation of the projects of member organizations in the network, within the framework of the Al-Qaherah district and to provide information related to priority needs in the district.
