Generations Without Qat Organization for Awareness and Development carried out , Tuesday, September 14, in the city of Taiz, the introductory workshop for the project Providing 150 rent subsidies and 200 assistances in livelihoods in the districts of Jabal Habashi and Al-Ma’afer m / Taiz. In the presence of 15 participants and representatives of the local authority and participation The community and the executive unit for the displaced in the two directorates and the director of the executive unit for the displaced in the governorate  Hassan Al-Khalidi Director of Social Affairs,  Labor Abdo Ali and Deputy Social Affairs,  Labor  Fouad Abdullah, representatives of the Director of the Office of Planning and International Cooperation Nabil Jamil, and a representative of Generations Without Qat Organization. Mesk Al-Absi is the Manager of programs in the organization.

 

During the opening of the workshop, the project manager, Bassam Al-Selwi, welcomed the participants, in addition to the welcome of the director of the Social Affairs Office, Abdo Ali, who stressed the importance of the project in the current situation of the districts of Jabal Habashi and Al-Ma'afer in Taiz governorate.

 

He praised the leading role of Generations Without Qat Organization in the governorate in the field of humanitarian work.

 

During the workshop, the participants were introduced to the project, its objective, and the target groups. The activities of the project and the complaints and feedback mechanism used by Generations Without Qat and the Humanitarian Fund - Yemen YHF were also explained and discussed.

 

The participants, in the introductory workshop of the project, expressed their satisfaction and interaction during the workshop, as the introductory workshop was concluded with a record and memorandum of understanding from Generations Without Qat Organization, the Executive Unit for the Displaced, the Local Authority, Social Affairs, the Office of Planning, and International Cooperation in the governorate.
