With the participation of (45) young men and women, Generations without Qat concludes three training courses on Leadership, Communication, Community Peace Building, and Peaceful Activism in Tai

With the participation of (45) young men and women, the Generations Without Qat Organization for Awareness and Development concluded , Thursday, October 7, 2021, in the city of Taiz, three training courses for civil society organizations and women’s groups in the districts of Al-Qaherah and Mudhaffar, on “leadership, communication, peacebuilding, and peaceful activism”, within the “Project” Strengthening community participation and building the capacities of civil society organizations, women’s groups, women’s and youth initiatives, and activating their roles in society” (the second year of the project), which is implemented by Generations Without Qat in the districts of Al-Qaherah and Mudhaffar in Taiz governorate.

In a statement to the project manager, Hamid Khaled, he said that during the training courses that lasted for four days, the participants in the leadership and communication course received a concept about leadership, the leader, leadership styles, qualities, morals and skills of the leader, in addition to models of influential leaders, as well as communication with its objectives, importance, elements, and types.

He added that as for the participants in the training course on building community peace, they received knowledge and skills about the concepts and analysis of societal conflicts and disputes, in addition to managing societal disputes in the region, tools for transforming disputes, and concepts of building community peace.

In the course of peaceful activity, "the participants received general concepts about peace, peacekeeping, peacebuilding, the threat of conflict and violence to community peace, and the place of peaceful coexistence in building community peace, in addition to successful experiences of women in peacebuilding, initiative and planning campaigns for nonviolent change," according to the project manager.
