Evidence-Based Advocacy, a training course organized by Generations Without Qat for women's organizations  groups in Taiz

Within the framework of the project “Strengthening community participation and building the capacities of civil society organizations, women’s groups, women’s and youth initiatives, and activating their roles in society” (the second year of the project), implemented by #Generations_Without_Qat_Awareness_ and Development Organization in the city of #Taiz (Al-Qaherah and Al-Mudhaffar districts), Generations Without Qat Organization opened, Monday, October 11, 2021, in the city of Taiz, a training session to build the capacity of 15 civil society organizations and women's groups on "evidence-based advocacy".
The training course, which lasts for four days, aims to provide the participants with knowledge and skills about the characteristics of advocacy and terminology related to advocacy, as well as the desired results from advocacy, in addition to the needs approach and the human rights approach to advocacy. Participants will also receive the advocacy analysis strategy and criteria for selecting an advocacy case.
Through activities and working groups, participants will learn about stakeholders and advocacy strategies, the strategy of alliances and networks, the use of media, in addition to preparing an advocacy plan.
