Within the framework of the Project Strengthening Community Participation and Building the Capacity of Civil Society Organizations, Women’s Groups, Women’s and Youth Initiatives and Activating Their Roles in Society (the second year of the project) implemented by Generations Without Qat Organization to raise awareness for development in the districts of Al-Qaherah and Mudhaffar in Taiz governorate. The gender training course was opened for 15 civil society organizations and women's groups from the districts of Al-Qaherah and Mudhaffar, Taiz governorate.

That comes within the framework of building the capacities of civil society and women’s groups, where, over four days, 15 participants will receive knowledge and skills about the concept of gender, the difference between sex and gender, gender roles, gender equality, and justice, and gender analysis in terms of concept and importance, and tools for analyzing social gender, as well as inclusion, the role of women and youth participation in decision-making and how to enhance the role of women in participating in decision-making and building community peace.

Participants will also receive concepts on conflict, peace, and resolution 1325.
