On Monday, September 5, 2022, Generations Without Qat Organization for Awareness and Development launched the project "Emergency Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Aid for IDPs Hosting Sites in Aden Governorate", funded from 2022 with funding from the Canadian Development and Peace Organization #Development and Peace - Caritas Canada
The project, implemented by Generations Without Qat, aims to contribute to saving lives and reducing the spread of communicable diseases related to water, sanitation and hygiene.
The project activities, which will be implemented in the IDP hosting sites in Al-Diyani, Bir Fadl A1-B1-C1, Ras Abbas, Al-Farsi and Kabjan districts in Al-Buraiqah and Al-Mansoura districts in Aden governorate:
- Building 53 bathrooms with accessories.
- Dig and build 10 orchards.
- Restoration and covering of 15 open-air orchards.
