Funded by the #European_Union_in_Yemen, in coordination with the Ministry of Local Administration under the patronage of Minister Hussein Abdulrahman Al-Agbary, and the Minister of State and Governor of Aden, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, the #United_Nations_Development_Programme (#UNDP) organized a workshop in collaboration with the organization "#Generations_Without_Qat" in the city of Aden on Monday, February 26, 2024. The workshop aimed to introduce local authorities to the importance of supporting community needs and focusing on enhancing institutional and economic resilience in Aden through flexible and local recovery funding.

The workshop, which is part of the project "Strengthening the Institutional and Economic Resilience in Yemen - #SIERY," included interactive sessions and presentations to familiarize participants with available funding through local flexibility and recovery, as well as showcasing successful examples of implementing this strategy in other areas.

Representatives from the Planning and International Cooperation Office,

Representatives from the Social Affairs and Labor Office,

And representatives from the directors of the districts of Al-Mansoura, Khormaksar, and Al-Sheikh Othman.
