Monday, December 6, 2021, #Generations_Without_Qat_Awareness and Development Organization in Taiz implemented a training course on Peace Building and Advocacy, within the "Political and Social Participation of Youth in Taiz and Aden Governorates" project (50 percent women), in the presence of the Deputy Director of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor Prof. Fouad Al-Faqih, Prof. Abdul-Malik Ali Muhammad, Director of Studies at the Office of Planning and International Cooperation - Taiz, and Prof. Jamil Muhammad Qaid, Head of the Investment Department in the Office of Planning and International Cooperation.
The training course targeted 40 young men and women activists in the society of various segments and affiliations (50 percent), women, 20 participants from each governorate.
The training course of the project aimed to contribute to strengthening and activating the political and social participation of the youth of Taiz and Aden governorates by building their capacities and integrating them in activities and initiatives that enhance their skills.
During the training course, which was the inauguration of a training program, the project's stages, activities, and objectives were reviewed by the project coordinator in the governorate.
For his part, Professor Fouad Al-Faqih, in his speech, stressed the "importance of the program for young people in light of the current conditions that Yemen is experiencing."
He stressed, "the need for young people to transform the concepts and knowledge they receive into actions and initiatives, in reality, to bring about the desired and hoped-for change." Wishing them success and good use of the program.
