Generations Without Qat Awareness and Development organization concluded two training sessions on "Leadership, Management and Project Continuity for 30 Female Entrepreneurs in Taiz City" in coordination with Businesswomen’s Department in Taiz province on Thursday, December 16, 2021.

That was part of the project "Promoting community participation, building the capacity of civil society organizations, women's groups, and youth and women's initiatives and activating their roles in society", which is implemented by Generations Without Qat in al-Muzaffar and Al-Qaherah districts in Taiz province.

"Within 10 days, two training courses were carried out, each of which was attended by 15 female entrepreneurs, whose projects varied from service, production, and professional projects," said Khaled Hamid, project manager.

"Participants in the two training courses received information and skills on entrepreneurship, feasibility study, strategic planning, and increased production, as well as information and skills on marketing for start-ups as well as information and skills on business continuity management or projects, communication skills, and identity building," he said.

The first group of female entrepreneurs held a training marketing exhibition for the products of the participants on December 12, 2021.

The second group of participating entrepreneurs also held a training marketing exhibition for the products of participants on December 16, 2021, on the hall of al-Jund Training Center, and the products of businesswomen participating in the training were presented with the aim of deepening the concept and knowledge of marketing and knowledge of the marketing environment and marketing strategies, in addition to the initial marketing skills of start-ups and how to gain customer confidence as well as electronic marketing.

During the project period for the first and second years, 60 female entrepreneurs were trained in Taiz.
