Within the framework of the project to enhance women’s participation in relief, recovery, and peace operations In Yemen, Generations Without Qat Organization inaugurated today, Saturday, October 1, 2022, In Taiz Governorate, a training course for those in authority In Salh District on The Role of Women and Youth in Humanitarian Response.

The project coordinator said In a press statement, "During the training period, which will last until October 4, 2022, the focus will be on humanitarian response In emergencies and the role of society and official authorities In community participation in emergencies, in addition to gender considerations in humanitarian response." And the roles of women and youth In emergencies and humanitarian response, and analysis of the authorities’ positions on the participation of women and youth, with a focus on enhancing the participation of women and youth In emergencies and humanitarian response.”

It Is worth noting that the project to enhance women’s participation in relief, recovery, and peace operations in Yemen Is implemented by #Generations_Without_Qat_Awareness_Development Organization in the Salh and Al-Shamaytayn districts in Taiz governorate during the period February-December 2022.

The project targets the local authority, civil society organizations, and women entrepreneurs in the two directorates.
