The #local_authority in #Lahj Governorate launched the project "Establishing, equipping and furnishing the Agricultural and Veterinary Guidance Center and installing a solar energy system in Tuban District".

The project aims to support the capabilities of farmers and breeders by enhancing #agricultural and veterinary services, and contributing to the development of agriculture and livestock.

The local authority plays a fundamental role in determining the priorities of this project within the annual plans, based on the needs of the local community. Coordination is carried out with the supporting agencies to ensure the implementation of the project efficiently and effectively.

The project is among the development priorities of the local authority for the year 2023, with the support of the "Strengthening Institutional and Economic Resilience in Yemen" (#SIERY) project implemented by the #United_Nations_Development_Programme (#UNDP) through the Generations Without Qat Organization | #Generations_Without_Qat Funded by the #European_Union in Yemen European Union Mission in Yemen

The launch was attended by a number of local officials in the agricultural sector, stressing that this project will contribute significantly to enhancing sustainability and improving livelihoods.
