The #local_authority in #Lahj Governorate continues to implement the Al-Gharir Road Paving Project - Al-Madara in Habil Jabr District, which is one of the vital development projects.
The project includes the implementation of cement stone paving works for a distance of 1169 meters long with a total area of 4072 square meters in addition to the construction of cement stone walls with a length of 294 meters long and a quantity of 204 cubic meters.
This road represents a vital artery linking villages located in mountainous and rugged areas and aims to improve mobility and facilitate the movement of citizens, in addition to enhancing access to basic services.
This project is among the priorities of the local authority for the year 2023, supported by the project "Strengthening Institutional and Economic Resilience in Yemen" (#SIERY), implemented by the #United_Nations_Development_Programme (#UNDP) through Generations Without Qat organization and funded by the European Union in Yemen.
