The #local_authority in #Lahj Governorate continues to implement the construction and equipping works of the Agricultural and Veterinary Guidance Center in #Tuban District, which will include the installation of a #solar_energy system and fully furnishing the center to provide comprehensive and integrated services.
This project seeks to enable local #farmers to improve their agricultural and livestock activities by providing integrated services, including:
π Supporting livestock care and improving animal production.
πΎ Providing specialized training to improve crop quality and marketing.
π Providing market data to help farmers promote their products and increase their income.
The center will contribute to enhancing agricultural and livestock productivity, which will positively reflect on farmers' livelihoods and improve #food_security in the region.
This project is among the local authority's development priorities for 2023 and is supported by the "Strengthening Institutional and Economic Resilience in Yemen" (#SIERY) project implemented by the #United_Nations_Development_Programme (#UNDP) through Generations Without Qat, and funded by
