Within the framework of the development efforts for the year 2023, the #local_authority in #Lahj Governorate has achieved achievement in the health sector by implementing the project to supply and install a solar energy system at the 14th of October Hospital in #Yafa'a District.

Through the #United_Nations_Development_Programme UNDP Yemen and Generations #Without_Qat_Organization
🎯 This project aims to ensure the continuity of health services in light of the current challenges and circumstances, by providing a sustainable #energy source that enhances the efficiency of health services provided to the district's residents.
📢 In turn, the Director of Yafa'a District said, "We succeeded in implementing this project after a comprehensive study of the district's needs in the health sector and including them among the priorities of the annual plans for 2023, as we received support from the #SIERY project, which focuses on the recovery of government institutions through institutional resilience and recovery funding.
The Director of the district's Health Office also praised the project's value, saying, "These projects work to enhance health services in a sustainable manner, especially with the major challenges resulting from power outages and high fuel costs. The solar energy system is a practical solution to ensure the continued provision of medical services to citizens."
