Dr. Bassim Naji Al-Baraihi, the manager of the project of Community Mobilization for adopting Family Essential Practices 1 + 5 (C4D) , conducted a field visit to the "Soffurra" IDPs camps in Bani Salah sub-district, and to Al-Saila IDPs camp in Jahir sub-district in Maqbanah district -Taiz governorate, to monitor the progress of the implementation of the project that is being implemented by Generations Without Qat for Awareness and Development, and funded by UNICEF, in Maqbanah district -Taiz governorate.
During the visit, the project manager met a number of IDPs in the camps, where he interviewed them to find out the extent of measuring the change of wrong behaviors to right behaviors in the basic life-saving messages of the community in the camps.
Dr. Bassim Naji Al-Baraihi, the project manager explained that the aim of the visit is to measure the community's commitment to basic healthy family practices, the most important of which are washing hands with water and soap, exclusive breastfeeding, the visiting of the pregnant mothers to health centers during pregnancy, and how to prevent diseases and epidemics, including (COVID-19) and the acute watery diarrhea "cholera".
