Yesterday, Tuesday, February 2, 2021, the activities of the special training course (Building Coalitions for Positive Social Change for Youth Initiatives), organized by Generations Without Qat within the project (Greater influence of Yemeni women and youth in peacebuilding, governance, and public decision-making at local and national levels).
The session targeted (15) youth and women's initiatives from the districts of Al-Qahera and Al-Muzaffar in Taiz governorate.
The activities of the session, which was held in the hall of the Al-Jand Training Center in Taiz, and which will last for four days, aim to focus on general concepts about coalitions and alliances and the importance of community participation, its mechanisms, and its most important activities, in addition to the importance of the role of community and youth components.
Generations Without Qat launched the project on the first Monday of February 2021, when its activities were inaugurated by holding four training courses for civil society organizations, women's groups, and youth and feminist initiatives, in which 60 participants and participants representing 15 women's organizations and groups and 15 youth initiatives participated in them.
The four courses in which he trained were a group of female trainers and trainers specialized in:
• Building community peace for civil society organizations and women's groups.
• The societal type of youth and feminist initiatives.
• Evidence-based advocacy for civil society organizations and women's groups.
• The peaceful activity of civil society organizations and women's groups.
