On Wednesday, January 12, 2022, the Generations Without Qat Organization for Development and Awareness concluded at the Injaz Center hall in the city of Taiz, the workshops for the financial and administrative liquidation mechanism for granting (36 civil society organizations and youth initiatives) in the districts of Al-Qaherah and Mudhaffar - Taiz, where 36 civil society organizations, women’s groups, and youth initiatives obtained Small grants after building their capacities on governance, social accountability, gender, community peacebuilding, sustainable development, advocacy, and writing project proposals.
The prepared projects reflected the organizations and initiatives' interest in implementing projects and activities that contribute to strengthening community peacebuilding, conflict resolution, participation in decision-making, and economic empowerment.
In a statement to the project manager, Hamid Khaled, he confirmed that the four workshops, which were held during the period from January 9-12, 2022, discussed the mechanism of financial liquidation for the implementation of project activities, follow-up, and evaluation, in addition to technical reports and documentation, as well as an explanation of the auxiliary forms that were distributed to the participants and participants, project coordinators and accountants. In addition to the indicative guide to financial liquidation prepared by the financial management of the organization by the grant policy of the Generations Without Qat Organization for Development and Awareness.
The project manager explained the start of implementing the activities of projects of organizations and initiatives that received grants (36 civil society organizations and youth initiatives) in the districts of Al-Qaherah and Mudhaffar in the city of Taiz.
It is worth noting that these grants come within the framework of the project to enhance community participation and build the capacity of civil society organizations and youth and women’s initiatives, which is implemented by the Generations Without Qat Organization in the city of Taiz, Al-Qaherah, and Mudhaffar districts.
